We come from a family of farmers. The Corn Maize is on land that is special to us. Our grandpa Earl Staker was born May 25, 1914 and married Viola Bowns on December 9, 1935. Over the years together, they would save their money and purchase pieces of land as they could afford it. With their children by their side they worked hand in hand raising crops such as tomatoes, potatoes, sugar beets, alfalfa and grain. We like to say that we hold the title for the “World’s Best Tomatoes” and look forward to the time of year when they are ready to eat.
The Corn Maize has been such a fun project for our family as we get to work together planting pumpkins and watching the corn grow. We love creating a place where families can come and discover new traditions and memories on land that holds a special place in our heart. We hope that your family has a wonderful time here and that you will have cherished memories for years to come.
